THE USE CASE

See inside without assuming every space is suitable.

Orbit owns and operates the Flyability Elios 3 for suitable confined and GPS-denied inspection environments. For asset owners in Kuwait, the first step is a feasibility discussion: the access opening, internal geometry, atmosphere, visibility and what must be recorded. A protective cage helps the aircraft work close to structures; it does not make every internal environment safe for flight.

Discuss this service
01

Review internal geometry

Discuss tanks, enclosed structures and other difficult internal areas with your site team. Access size, obstructions and the recovery plan determine what can be attempted.

02

Keep the inspection record usable

Agree a coverage plan and a naming or location-reference system so the asset reviewer can understand where each observation belongs.

03

Separate imaging from measurement

Define visual documentation first. Surveying or ultrasonic-thickness applications require the appropriate confirmed package, procedure and acceptance criteria.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

HOW WE WORK

Purpose before
take-off.

  1. 01

    Define

Start with the asset, environment and decision you need to make.

  2. 02

    Plan

Agree coverage, timing, access, equipment and useful deliverables.

  3. 03

    Capture

Collect the agreed imagery or data with site coordination.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Receive organised outputs prepared for the intended workflow.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

A few useful
answers.

Does Orbit operate the Elios 3?

Yes. Orbit owns and operates Flyability Elios 3. Share the asset and inspection objective so we can discuss a suitable capture scope and equipment configuration.

Can the drone fly in any tank or confined space?

No. The asset operator must confirm appropriate site conditions and access arrangements. Atmosphere, contamination, temperature, dust, liquids, internal obstacles and signal conditions all affect feasibility. The cage is not a substitute for a site-specific assessment.

Are LiDAR surveys and thickness measurements included?

They are not assumed in every inspection. Tell us whether you need spatial surveying, visual evidence or thickness readings. The fitted package, processing, operator workflow and reporting requirements must be confirmed for that scope.

Can this eliminate all human entry?

Drone imagery may help an asset team review some areas remotely, but it does not remove every need for physical access, specialist testing or maintenance. The site team determines what further work is required.

How do we start?

Share the location, timing and intended use in a project enquiry. We will discuss coverage and delivery with you before a capture plan is agreed.
